I have been dancing all my life.  I attended the Milwaukee Ballet School as a child and teen, and performed several times in the company's annual Nutcracker.  In High School I branched out into theater and musicals, while continuing my ballet practice, and started choreographing my own work.  I now hold a BA with honors in Dance from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin, with and ephasis in Modern and Ballet.  For the past ten years I have been perfoming and teaching children, teens, and adults in Milwaukee and the San Francisco Bay area.
I love teaching, we always have a lot of fun!

BIos are just the weirdest things to write.  I took ballet when I was little with the Milwaukee Ballet School.  They were good classes and my parents paid a lot of money for them.  The Milwaukee Ballet Company is a solid company, but not well known.  I chose ballet over horseback riding when I was seven.  I never felt I fit in with the other girls, I sometimes wonder why I kept with it.  I guess I loved the anatomy, and I loved the Science, Math and Geometry behind it, even as a teen.
I kept on through High School, but wasn't consistent about it cause I was doing theater, and Advance Placement classes, and studying visual art.  I graduated from Shorewood High School which rated number one school in my District threes running while I was there.  Shorewood is a College Prep school, and was way more challenging scholastically speaking than any of my college years.  I graduated in the eighty-fourth percentile.  I excelled in Science, Physics in particular, visual arts, Math, Literature, and Theater.  I was terrible at Political science, and although my grades from French classes were average I'm actually quiet good with languages.  I can still speak and understand a fair bit of French, and have since learned Turkish as well.
I ended up at UW-Milwaukee majoring in Dance.  UWM is an amazing Dance Program with a modern focus, I highly recommend them.  College was weird for me though, I never felt I fit in, like ballet school all over agian.  My professors liked me, but i never really connected with any of them.  I had a preima donna attitude when I was a freshman there.  I see it now that I'm a little older, at the time I was the victim.  I worked hard in College, I graduated with a 3.8.  I ran away to Australia.
I lived in Australia for six months.
